Welcome to StarPNG. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StarPNG.com (the "Website"), our asset catalog, customizer tools, and procedural generator studio. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

All star graphics, SVG vector codes, transparent PNGs, star stickers, animated SVGs, and procedural exports made available directly by StarPNG are released under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, copying assets from, or downloading files from StarPNG, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Website and its services.

2. Asset Licensing & Permitted Uses

StarPNG was founded on the philosophy that foundational vector shapes and design building blocks should be accessible to everyone without predatory paywalls or attribution traps.

You ARE Permitted To:

  • Use any asset in client work, commercial websites, SaaS applications, games, marketing banners, software products, and merchandise.
  • Incorporate star vectors and PNGs into logos, trademarks, and brand identity assets as part of a larger, unique composition.
  • Download up to 4K Ultra HD transparent PNGs and edit the raw SVG markup using design software such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or Photoshop.
  • Re-distribute or package assets inside open-source code repositories (e.g., GitHub, npm packages, UI component libraries).

You Are NOT Permitted To:

  • Claim exclusive copyright ownership over raw, unmodified CC0 star assets from StarPNG.
  • Bulk scrape the entire StarPNG database using automated scrapers or bots to create a mirror or clone website that misrepresents itself as StarPNG.
  • Use StarPNG assets in any manner that promotes illegal activities, hate speech, defamation, or infringement of third-party trademarks.

3. Procedural Star Generator Studio

StarPNG provides a browser-based mathematical vector generator studio allowing users to customize geometry, rays, flare angles, neon glow radius, and color gradients:

  • Any vector graphic or PNG generated by you using the generator is processed client-side within your browser.
  • We do not retain copies or claim copyright ownership of custom star configurations created by you.
  • Generated assets inherit the CC0 Public Domain dedication for your convenience and unencumbered commercial use.

4. Advertisements & Google AdSense

StarPNG is supported by advertising revenue, including ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks. By using StarPNG, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Advertisements may be displayed alongside or integrated into the catalog and generator pages.
  • StarPNG does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product, service, or website advertised through third-party ad banners.
  • Interacting with an advertisement may redirect you to third-party web properties subject to their own respective terms and privacy statements.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE WEBSITE, ASSETS, GENERATOR TOOLS, AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

StarPNG makes no warranty that the website will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any errors in the assets will be corrected.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall StarPNG, its owners, operators, developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, business interruption, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use the Website or its assets.
