DMCA & Copyright Policy

StarPNG respects the intellectual property rights of artists, creators, and copyright holders. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), StarPNG will respond expeditiously to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are reported to our designated agent.

Original Vectors & Public Domain Commitment

All star graphics on StarPNG are procedural mathematical shapes, custom-coded vector illustrations, or contributed assets dedicated to the Public Domain under Creative Commons CC0. We do not knowingly host proprietary or copyrighted assets belonging to third parties without authorization.

1. How to Submit a Valid DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on StarPNG, please send a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent containing all of the following statutory requirements:

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, including the exact URL link(s) on StarPNG.
4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit StarPNG to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address.
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

3. Counter-Notification Procedure

If material that you submitted or published on StarPNG has been removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA takedown notice, and you believe that this removal was due to a mistake or misidentification (for example, the material is public domain or licensed under CC0), you may send a written Counter-Notice to our Designated Agent.

The Counter-Notice must comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) and include your physical or electronic signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to federal court jurisdiction.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

StarPNG maintains a strict policy of terminating the privileges and access of any user or contributor who repeatedly infringes upon the copyrights of others.
